Another example of an elected official who believes that they should get special treatment because of their office. This is an abuse of so called "power". No one else received this help during the storm. Why should she be treated any different??? And she's a democrat!!!

Corrine Brown, D-Jacksonville, got special treatment when city work crews delivered sandbags to her home Friday as Tropical Storm Fay was bearing down on Jacksonville.Brown Admits calling Mayor John Peyton's office for help, but denied any inappropriate use of her power or influence."I had to call and call and call, just like anybody else," Brown told Channel 4's Diane Cho. "I had to call several times before I got anybody."

Ya remember *Cold Cash* Jefferson in New Orleans?? Recruited much needed National Guard troops to personally escort him to his house so he could check on HIS stuff??

Just saw an update where the city of Jacksonville will bill here almost $1000 for the service. Doesn't matter, she still received help when other tax payers did not!!!
Or the fact that "Chocolate" Nagin fled NOLA during the hurricane and positioned his family in Texas?
